This month, I learned a workflow for environment art. I started with making assets that are compatible with unreal, and making basic materials. In week 2, I used trim sheets and expanded my materials' capabilities. In week 3, I learned set dressing in unreal, using the foliage brush, decals, volumetric fog, mesh painting, and world position offset nodes. Lastly in week 4, I used all of my previous knowledge and learned Unreal's sequence editor, creating my own beauty shots for the final piece.
